Meditations of a Bitcoiner is a collection of verses and reflections that explore the profound philosophical, economic, and personal transformations brought about by Bitcoin. It is not merely an anthology of words about digital money but a meditation on freedom, integrity, and the human spirit. These verses delve into topics ranging from the deeply personal—how Bitcoin inspires individual responsibility, discipline, and alignment with truth—to the societal and cosmic, examining how it serves as a tool for reasserting reality, dismantling fiat corruption, and empowering a freer, more harmonious world.

This work exists because Bitcoin is more than a monetary system; it is a lens through which we can examine and challenge the distortions of the fiat world. It sheds light on how unsound money has fueled degeneracy, greed, and the erosion of societal values. By exposing these truths, the verses call readers to engage with a better way of living—through sound money and sound values, through craftsmanship, localism, personal growth, and a recommitment to excellence.

The collection also serves as a guide and a call to action. It encourages Bitcoiners to not merely hold Bitcoin but to embody its virtues: sovereignty, patience, integrity, and a commitment to building a better world. It emphasizes the importance of spreading knowledge, fostering adoption, and ensuring that Bitcoin is used not only to constrain the abuses of fiat but to liberate the people and create a more just, peaceful, and prosperous society.

Each verse is written with intention—whether in the contemplative tone of Marcus Aurelius, the spiritual resonance of the Psalms, or the exultant call to arms of a revolutionary manifesto. Together, they weave a narrative of transformation, from the individual to the collective, celebrating the joys, responsibilities, and profound implications of engaging with Bitcoin. This project is a gift to the reader—a tool for reflection, a spark for action, and an invitation to join a global movement to reclaim truth and freedom.

Meditations of a Bitcoiner is an active endeavor - in a constant state of expansion, improvement, and refinement. For updates, subscribe to the project Substack. My hope for Meditations of a Bitcoiner is that it would inspire; that it would inspire in Bitcoiners, fresh and seasoned alike, ideas for their own unique ways of experiencing, understanding, appreciating, invigorating, communicating, and framing Bitcoin. I believe that Bitcoin embodies a set of values that many outside of the Bitcoin community resonate with, and I hope that this framing can help them see the alignment of Bitcoin and the purposeful, principled lives they already live.

About Me

I am the creator of Meditations of a Bitcoiner, a collection that reflects my belief that Bitcoin is more than just an advancement in hard money—it is a transformative force that aligns its participants with life-affirming principles and incentives. This project is both a personal expression and an invitation, offering a fresh way for Bitcoiners and pre-coiners to connect with deeper meaning through Bitcoin.

My journey into Bitcoin has been shaped by a voracious appetite for reading, with favorites like Bitcoin is Venice, The Genesis Book, and The Fiat Standard. These works have deepened my understanding of Bitcoin as a movement for truth, integrity, and sovereignty.

In addition to these meditations, I write Casual Bitcoiner, a light-hearted weekly email newsletter for newcoiners, and I design hats at Hodl Hat, as a celebration of Bitcoin culture. Across all my work, I am driven by the belief that Bitcoin is a tool for personal societal transformation, and I aim to spread positive vibes within and beyond our growing network of Bitcoiners.
