Society is an experiment, always has been—

Sustaining their rule as the world unravels.

They will never call it what it is,

For they benefit while the rest suffer.

So don’t wait for them to declare defeat.

They will cling to this system,

To the last breath of its dying experiment,

Even as it costs us all.
