Productivity should make us rich,

Driving prices down, increasing purchasing power,

Expanding societal wealth.

But with a mandate for inflation,

Central banks devalue our money,

Debasing it to cancel out downward price pressure,

productivity’s natural consequence.

The more we innovate,

The more they inflate—

Turning progress into poverty,

And wealth into a fleeting dream.
